I am so excited to introduce Heather Henry Design on the blog! I met Heather in my Barre class and I instantly knew I was going to love her! After a few classes and getting to know Heather she told me she was a jewelry and handbag designer!! WHAT?!! So awesome!! Heather said she needed some photos for various branding items and I was thrilled she asked me to do them! Heather is so unique and eclectic so I knew it would be an awesome shoot. We decided to shoot some of the photos in Heather’s home studio– an idea I loved because it gave me a peek into her life, her inspiration and how her amazing pieces come to life. Heather’s interest in jewelry started from an early age. As a child she played in her mother’s jewelry pieces. She would dream up new ways to wear the pieces and would remake them into something remarkable. Soon she began to bead small jewelry items and give them to friend’s as gifts. Heather knew she LOVED the creativity behind jewelry making, but it wasn’t until she moved to Mexico City with her husband that she knew she wanted to learn even more about the art of jewelry making. She began taking metal smith classes in Mexico at the University her husband was attending and she fell in love with the art. I asked Heather what inspires her pieces and she said she
