This gorgeous fall wedding was wonderful in every way! Jen and Chuck are a perfect couple and I was honored they asked me to photograph this special time in their life. Jen is such a sweet, fun, FUNNY, and vibrant girl! Her personality is contagious and you cannot help but laugh when around this girl! Whether she is saying something hilarious, acting silly, or just being good ole’ Jen, you are bound to have a great time! I always have fun with this sweet girl, and i’m glad she found someone to share in her awesomeness day-in and day-out! Jen and Chuck met while on ski trips with their friends. Apparently Jen made a wrong turn on the mountain and Chuck saw her. Being the sweet man he is, he came to her rescue and went ahead and followed her the rest of the way down the mountain to make sure she made it down ok. Little did Chuck know, this sweet gesture would lead him to his wife. The couple dated long distance for seven months before Chuck made the move to Lubbock to be with Jen. He knew he wanted to keep her from getting lost for the rest of her life so he proposed with a gorgeous Canary diamond ring. Jen’s dog, Emma, is a huge part of her life so he chose to tie the ring to Emma’s collar and propose in the park. When he got down on one knee to ask Jen, Emma decided to ahem “poop” at that EXACT moment!! Oh my gosh!! Sorry, I am laughing hysterically while writing this!!! Anyway, after Emma finished her business and Jen and Chuck composed themselves she said yes! I am so thankful my sweet friend Jen found a sweet man to help her up and down the mountains of life and I wish them so much happiness!! Congrats!!!
